It hasn’t taken long for Rep. Keith Ellison to show his true stripes.

Last week, Representative Keith Ellison (D-MN), speaking before the Atheists for Human Rights, stated that President Bush is the architect behind a large-scale attempt to subvert the Constitution. Of the September 11, 2001 attacks, Ellison, the first Muslim elected to Congress, stated, “9/11 is the juggernaut in American history and it allows…it’s almost like, you know, the Reichstag fire… kind of reminds me of that. After the Reichstag was burned, they blamed the Communists for it, and it put the leader [Hitler] of that country in a position where he could basically have authority to do whatever he wanted.”

Ellison is referring to the Nazi burning of the Reichstag Parliament building on February 27, 1933. The Nazis blamed the fire on German and foreign Communist agents which resulted in the outlawing of the Communist party, the subsequent arrests of thousands of Communist members, and the pressure by Hitler to acquire dictatorial powers without approval of the Assembly. Ellison was not willing to back his accusation fully, however and stated he wasn’t going so far as to accuse the Bush administration of orchestrating the 9/11 attacks, because, “you know, that’s how they put you in the nut-ball box – dismiss you.” Apparently he believes it; he just doesn’t have the guts to go all the way with the statement so he won’t be considered crazy.

It may be a bit late for that. Ellison went on to say that Vice President Dick Cheney’s behavior, when he refused to answer questions put to him by Congress, was “the very definition of totalitarianism, authoritarianism, and dictatorship.” This statement firmly encased him in the “nut-ball box” as he puts it. Anyone knowledgeable of the definitions of those terms would recognize fascist states complete with torture, suppression of dissent, rule by fiat, concentration camps, mass arrests, and suppression of liberties as the hallmarks of totalitarianism and dictatorship. To accuse Bush and Cheney of any of those things makes Ellison appear foolish, misinformed, and hateful. He does not even recognize he could never have been allowed to speak those words in a truly totalitarian society. In Hitler’s world, he would have been arrested, tortured, and perhaps even put to death. He also ignores our system of checks and balances, due process, and freedoms. In case he didn’t realize it, we now have a Democratic-controlled Congress and freedom of the press. So, Ellison thinks Bush is in a position to do whatever he wants?” I don’t think so.

Ellison also is disingenuous when he says the Bush administration is attempting to subvert the Constitution. He conveniently forgot to mention that he was elected largely due to the contributions from CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a pro-Islamic group which has been named as an unindicted co-conspirator in a case involving the funding of the terrorist group Hamas. Several of the CAIR leadership have connections to Hamas and CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper once stated (according to a reporter), “I wouldn’t want to create the impression that I wouldn’t like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future.” Omar Ahmad, so-founder of CAIR with Nihad Awad (who said he supports Hamas) has said, “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant.” Does this sound like Ellison is interested in the well being of America, or rather the well being of Keith Ellison and Islam? Besides, once Ellison tied Bush to the planning and attacks of 9/11, how can any clear-thinking American believe in Ellison’s reason and ability to aid in the governance of this country? Ellison has shown not to be a leader…rather, his foolish statements make him appear to be a follower of special interest, self-serving fantasies, and delusion.

He owes President Bush, Vice-President Cheney, and the American people – an apology.

  1. CONSIPIRACY THEORIES ON 9/11 OR WAS IT AN ACT OF GOD AND WHY? Interesting Theory wouldn’t you say!

Consipiracy Theories on Sept. 11 have to many loose ends that don’t make sense, also there are to many pieces to the Consipiracy Theories that are missing, that would make it a whole picture. For example how does the Conspiracy Theory explain why four jet airliners were used in the attack, why not three or two, why did it have to be FOUR? And the jet airliners came from different airports, but yet all of them took off on the same day, and Hit there targets, not one was stopped! Why? How could it happen? with out the terrorist making a single mistake!

The mystery to the Sept. 11 attack is the four jet airliners, they hold the key to why the attack happened! “If two or three jet airliners had been hijacked instead of four, then it might not be a sign. But since there were four and the attack happened in one day that was an obvious sign. It is also absolutely impossible to hijack four jet airliners in one day at different airports, unless there was DIVINE INTERVENTION, so the attack could be carried out!”

“The Lord shalt bring a nation against thee from far from the end of the earth…”

The Lord said in that scripture verse, that he shalt bring a nation against thee from far, that nation on September 11, 20001 wa “Afghanistan.”

The rest of the untold story is yet to be told!
