Atlanta TV news report part two focuses on MOA anti-Semitism Reporter congratulates CAN President Martin Mawyer on documentation, credibility
(Christian Action Network) The second edition of an in-depth investigative report by WSB-TV2 Atlanta News, a broadcast that CAN President Martin Mawyer participated in, focused on Muslim of the Americas stated anti-Semitic views.
The Friday evening, November 2 finish to the exposé can be found online at the bottom of this article on the 2nd broadcast link.
Coming away from his involvement in helping contribute to the broadcast, Mawyer said Reporter Mark Winne found the information CAN offered very helpful.
“He thanked us for the credible information we offered to them, and he complemented our organization for how well documented the information was,” Mawyer said.
Winne titled Friday’s piece, “A Clash of Faiths” and included a discussion panel of three men representing the religions: Islam, Christianity and Judaism.
He presented a video that he said had a Muslims of the Americas return address on it in which Sheikh Mubarak Gilani, leader of MOA, declared open hatred of Jews.
“They worship Satan, they have Satan as their god…They are the Illuminati,” Gilani said. “They are involved in sexual perversion and other activities; all these things are being done by the Jewish world order.”
Gilani in the video blamed the so called “Jewish world order” for AIDS, hepatitis, death of innocents, international terrorism – including the September 11 attacks.
Representing Judaism, former TV2 reporter, and active leader with the Jewish Anti-Defamation League, Bill Nigut called the comments “ridiculous.”
“It is a self-incriminating tape, just the fact that they said this is astonishing to me,” Nigut said.
“The fact that there are people in my state who may share these views, who hate my people, is very troubling to me…[views] being incubated, propagated – being taught to children in these communities.”
Akeel Hanano, representing the Islamic Arab-American Anti-Defamation Council, could not condemn the anti-Semitism of the group explicitly, but he defended Muslims, saying, “It is not mainstream thought in the Muslim community.”
“I am not over here sitting in judgment of this group, I don’t know enough about it.” he added. “What I hear [in the tape] I hear everywhere, from every kind of faith.”
United Methodist Bishop Bevel Jones said, “Anti-Semitism has been around for a long, long time; it ill behooves us to pour gas on these flames – we must work toward reconciliation.”
Winne’s report cited text from the MOA video titled, “The Mightiest Lie Ever Sold,” as stating, “Look at the 9/11 affair. The United States citizens and the entire world know it was the job of the Zionist Jews.”
CAN News never received that memo from the illuminati or any other credible source.
Winne said, “We plan to follow up on this story.”
Mawyer contributed information to help Winne have a complete body of information to expose the threat and its links to known terrorist organizations such as Jamaat ul-Fuqra.
Winne interviewed Mawyer for Thursday’s broadcast in which CAN presented material included a 1990 terrorist training and recruitment video.
CAN also handed over a detailed report by the Regional Organized Crime Information Center outlining ties, including funding links, from Muslim of the America’s Inc., to Jamaat ul-Fuqra terrorists.
Following the telecast, Mawyer said, “This went very well, we got our information out; I believe the people of Georgia are much more aware now of the jihadist threat in their neighborhoods.”
